KEEPING CALM
There hasn't been too much excitement in the first hour or so of European trading, the Stoxx 600 is a touch above flat and even at the sector level things are pretty muted.
Defence names, up 1.37% .SXPARO are the biggest gainer, likely helped by Tuesday's announcement on defence spending from NATO leaders, and miners are also up over 1%. SXPP
Single stock wise, Swedish fashion retailer H&M HMb.ST stands out, up 7% after it reported slightly stronger second-quarter profit.
Carrefour CARR.PA down 4.2% is the biggest faller of the day.
Markets aren't too excited by the Shell SHEL.L and BP BP.L drama, the shares are up 0.3% and 0.2% respectively.
